About Us

The 1111 Gallery is a non-profit exhibition space in Budapest. The gallery’s aim is to create an opportunity for international and local talents to work and collaborate. The art program is focused on establishing progressive, experimental and critical exhibitions and projects. By presenting different artistic tendencies, we make the attempt to place the creators in a domestic and international context. We also aim to interpret and discuss current cultural and social phenomena, and to build a diverse, open and interactive art community for whom the gallery functions both as a team and as a creative space.
